A vision for the next generation of neuroscientists

This week, Neuron published a Perspective that calls for a reinvestment in and rethinking of neuroscience graduate and post-graduate training. We want to hear what you think about this important topic and are hosting our first ever Reddit AMA discussion featuring the Perspective’s authors. In this blog post, I wanted to share some background and tell you a bit about how this Perspective came to be and what we hope to achieve with it. This Perspective evolved as a follow-up from a 2014 workshop entitled Developing a 21st Century Neuroscience Workforce organized by the Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
