Apple Acquires Artificial Intelligence Firm Turi

It is learnt that Apple has acquired Seattle based artificial intelligence firm Turi. Though there has been no official announcement neither about the acquisition nor the financials from the involved companies, reports estimated the deal to be around $200 million. “Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans,” said Apple in a statement when contacted by GeekWire, a news portal that broke the news.
