Avik Partners emerges with Grok machine learning SaaS

A new player has entered the machine learning market and launched a software as a service offering on Amazon Web Services that provides enterprises with the ability to detect anomalies in IT systems. Avik Partners acquired the technology for its new Grok service from machine intelligence vendor Numenta. The new SaaS offering was designed to continuous learn complex patterns from applications by monitoring streaming data. Grok, which is currently in beta, applies machine learning to operations analytics and IT service management in companies that use public and/or private clouds.
