‘Complicated’ robot can’t resist flirting with veteran TV reporter

Artificial Intelligence humanoid ‘Sophia’ flirts with 60 minutes reporter Charlie Rose. A US TV anchor found himself flirting with a robot on national television during a 60 Minutes special on artificial intelligence. Describing itself as a “complicated girl,” Sophia, modelled after Audrey Hepburn, acted in most parts just like a normal human during its interview with veteran reporter Charlie Rose. When the reporter sat down with the machine, developed by Hanson Robotics, it immediately said it had been waiting for him. “Waiting for me?” the reporter responded. “Not really. But it makes a good pickup line,” Sophia responded.
