Emergence Capital leads Series A round for Textio

Seattle-based Textio, an intelligent text platform, has secured $8 million in Series A funding. Emergence Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Cowboy Ventures, Bloomberg Beta and Upside Partnership. In conjunction with the funding, Gordon Ritter, founder and general partner at Emergence Capital, has been added to Textio’s board of directors.
