Facebook Unveils AI Engine ‘DeepText’

Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) has launched its first artificial intelligence engine, “DeepText”, in a bid to sort the posts and text on the social network according to their meaning with near-human accuracy. Thousands of posts in more than 20 languages can be understood and processed by DeepText, as the need for a structuring and categorization of posts on the social network keeps burgeoning due to increasing content posted on the network. Intent and meaning of the posts were not understood previously for curation and categorization, but it should not be a problem with AI coming to the rescue for the first time.
