Former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz Joins Technology Startup

Benny Gantz has been appointed chairman of a secretive Israeli startup specializing in mining “big data” and artificial intelligence, Globes website reported. The company, Fifth Dimension, was founded last year by CEO Guy Caspi, a former senior executive at Comverse, and deputy chairman of the board Doron Cohen. Though still operating in stealth mode, the company has raised significant capital over three rounds of funding by private investors, including American investment giant Columbus Nova.
