Google Is Working on Kill Switch for Artificial Intelligence

Researchers from Google’s AI division DeepMind are developing a kill switch for artificial intelligence (AI). The Internet giant has suggested that a big red button could be used to prevent AI from a “harmful consequence of actions.” A study conducted by the tech giant’s DeepMind research unit and University of Oxford said that there should be a way to safely and repeatedly interrupt an algorithm.
