Government unprepared for Artificial Intelligence in the workplace

They fear that people’s social and working lives will be fundamentally changed by the rise of the machines and that the workforce will have to adapt its skillset in order to meet the challenges. The report, by the Science and Technology Committee, concludes that there is no plan in place to assist in the adaptive training that will be needed as well as the social and ethical problems that are bound to arise.
