High School students compete in Vermont Brain Bee

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — High School students interested in neuroscience and the functioning of the brain are competing in the Vermont Brain Bee. The seventh annual competition is taking place Saturday at the University of Vermont. Individual students and teams are given written, practical and oral quizzes. UVM’s Dr. Magdalena Naylor will give the keynote talk on “Mindfulness for Stress Management and Well-Being.” The event is free. The winner of the competition will compete in the National Brain Bee in Baltimore, Maryland in March during Brain Awareness Week.
