Huawei signs million AI research partnership with UC Berkeley

In yet another example of a tech giant fueling and propelling growth by tieing up with educational and research institutes, Huawei has partnered up with UC Berkeley to supplement its capabilities in Artificial Intelligence. The company will be providing the University with $1 million in research grants.Huawei’s Noah’s Ark Laboratory and Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) have together reached an understanding, which is being termed as a strategic partnership into basic research. The research mentioned here is basic merely in name and deals with stuff like deep learning, reinforcement learning, machine learning, natural language processing and computer vision.
