Intel Is Buying Movidus, A Computer Vision Startup

Movidus is a computer vision startup that makes vision chips for drones and AI and now Intel has announced that they are buying the company. The company creates hardware for drones, robots, VR headsets and more, Intel have not disclosed how much they are paying for the company. With the introduction of RealSense™ depth-sensing cameras, we brought groundbreaking technology that allowed devices to “see” the world in three dimensions.
