Microsoft inaugurates conference on machine learning, AI

By IANS on Aug 9, 2016 at 4:00 AM comments Tags: Internet of things microsoft News Aimed at exploring the possibilities with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop apps and services, Microsoft India inaugurated the first edition of its two-day “Machine Learning and Data Sciences (ML&DS) Conference”. The conference is hosting 600 participants, including data scientists, students, developers, government elites, start-ups, cricketers and Microsoft experts. “At Microsoft, our ambition is to democratize the access to technologies like Cloud-based services for machine learning, big data and Internet of Things (IoT) so that developers can build, innovate and transform the world with them,” Joseph Sirosh, Corporate Vice President of Data Group at Microsoft, said in a statement. Microsoft also unveiled an Azure machine learning-based approach at the event for calculating target scores…
