Robots like puns and dumb jokes, right? I can knock those out all day long. I’m like a bad joke machine. Or … crud … that’s not offensive to robots, is it? So, yes. The revolution is coming, but some news last week made it clear it’s not here just yet. It started with Microsoft, which might seem like an unusual candidate to unleash the automated apocalypse. So far, the closest they have come to helping artificial intelligence overrun our lives is when they had that annoying paperclip try telling us what to do with our Word documents.
