Nvidia revenues hit record USD 1.4 bln in Q4

Nvidia said revenues for its fourth quarter to end January hit a record USD 1.40 billion, up 12 percent from the year before. Full year revenues rose 7 percent from the year before to a record of USD 5.01 billion. The net profit for the quarter rose 7 percent to USD 207 million or USD 0.35 per diluted share, inclusive of a restructuring charge of USD 0.04 per diluted share. The gross margin went higher to 56.5 percent from 56.3 percent. Results were driven by growth across all market platforms, namely Gaming, Professional Visualization, Datacenter and Automotive, as well as sharply higher customer engagements in deep learning.
