Postdoctoral Opportunity in Neuroscience

The McGinley lab is seeking a candidate to study brain circuit mechanisms of attentional effort. In vivo two-photon microscopy, whole-cell recording, optogenetics, and extracellular recording in animals engaged in auditory perceptual tasks will be used to study the neuromodulatory mechanisms in auditory cortex of fluctuations in effort on auditory attentional tasks. Anyone with relevant methodological experience and/or experience in the auditory system (such as with the study of hearing loss) and/or computational and engineering approaches should apply. Motivated and talented researchers at a variety of career stages (from pre-doctoral to experienced scientist) are encouraged to apply. Required: Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Bioengineering, or a related field. To apply, click “APPLY” and you will be redirected. Baylor College of Medicine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Equal Access Employer.
