This is an opportunity within the Nanomedicine Laboratory at the University of Manchester. The post is available immediately until 31 March 2018. You will undertake research using graphene-based devices used for stimulation, recording and as therapeutic molecule transport systems to the diseased central (CNS) and peripheral nervous system (PNS). Biological and electrophysiological investigations (including cell and tissue analysis using molecular techniques and functional assays) of the implanted devices and nanomaterials using in vitroand in vivo models will be performed.
