Robots might take your job — if you’re a man

In a new industrial revolution, Economists think artificial intelligence will obsolete human labor at an unforgiving pace, says The Atlantic. Two Oxford researchers analyzed the skills required for more than 700 different occupations. The researchers wanted to determine how many of these jobs would be taken over by robots, and the news was not good. They concluded machines are likely to take over 47 percent of jobs within a few decades, but the jobs performed primarily by women are safe, while those typically performed by men are at risk. Despite the fight for equality in the workplace, there is still a high degree of gender bias.
