Robots taking our jobs and more

Advances in artificial intelligence will soon see robots capable of doing nearly everything humans do, threatening tens of millions of jobs in the next 30 years. “Machines will be able to outperform humans at almost any task,” said Moshe Vardi of the Institute for Information Technology at Rice University in Texas at a discussion on artificial intelligence by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.”So what will humans do?” Today, there are more than 200,000 US industrial robots, and even as that number rises research is focused on the reasoning abilities.
