Researchers have reported in a study that scientists have created a machine that mimics the way the human brain learns. It is a computer model that is only capable of learning characters from alphabets, and can be expanded to learn things like dance moves, gestures, and words in spoken and signed languages. Joshua Tenenbaum, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT), stated he wanted to invent a machine that imitates children’s learning abilities. “Before they get to kindergarten, children learn to recognize new concepts from just a single example, and can even imagine new examples they haven’t seen.
