SK to launch Korean edition of IBM AI program

SEOUL, May 9 (Yonhap) — SK Holdings C&C said Monday it has joined forces with IBM Corp. to release the Korean-language edition of the U.S. giant’s flagship artificial-intelligence (AI) program. Under the plan, SK will start providing the Korean-language edition of the IBM Watson service to local users in the first half of 2017. The agreement also calls for the two parties to establish infrastructure for Watson in South Korea, as well as to roll out marketing projects to promote the service.
