The Release of Microsoft’s Cognitive Toolkit

Microsoft has redesigned an old app transforming it into Cognitive Toolkit. The Cognitive Toolkit is bound to bring promising useful features. Microsoft announced last week that they have managed to achieve a breakthrough in speech recognition field. This discovery represents a transcription system which matches human beings. Its error rate was estimated at 5.9% in conversational speech. The system is developed on a toolkit already built by Microsoft. The major update of the toolkit called the Cognitive Toolkit was launched in beta. Without the new updates, this process was called the Computational Network Toolkit (CNTK), and it was licensed by MIT and hosted by GitHub.
