UC neuroscience center gets new name

The naming of the Gardner Neuroscience Institute, as of Tuesday, honors the founder of Cintas and the family’s contribution to the study of the brain and its disorders. A UC news release unveiled the new name, aimed as a tribute to the James J. and Johan A. Gardner Family Foundation, which has donated at least $20 million to the institute.
