Apple’s letter to the NHTSA hints that there may be some truth to Project Titan

Over the course of several months, we’ve been in danger of suffering from whiplash as a result of all the swiveling back and forth to keep up with the countless rumors swirling around Apple’s so-called “Project Titan,” its mysterious (alleged) car project. But now, the tech giant has finally seemed to publicly acknowledge that there is indeed an Apple car in the works. In early December, a letter from Steve Kenner, Apple’s director of product integrity, to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was discovered, in which Apple offered “comments on the proposed Federal Automated Vehicles Policy.”Now why else would the Cupertino company do that unless it had some serious skin in the game?
