British Educational Research Journal (BERJ) – Celebrating 40 years

We are delighted to announce that Usha Goswami’s 2008 article, co-written with Dominic Wyse and entitled Synthetic phonics and the teaching of reading, has been selected as one of The British Educational Research Journal’s top 20 most-cited papers to appear since publication began in 1975.  To celebrate the last 40 years in publishing, the BERJ has brought together a virtual issue of some of the most important papers published on the topic of education research, and including records of major landmark projects and findings, as well as breakthroughs in how research is conducted.
