DPS boy emerges brain bee champion

Raunaq Sharma from Delhi Public School (DPS), Chandigarh, won the 9th Chandigarh Regional Brain Bee, a quiz on neurosciences, organised by the Department of Neurology, PGIMER, Chandigarh, in association with the Indian National Brain Bee, the International Brain Bee (IBB) and the Society for Neuroscience (SFN), at Advanced Eye Centre Auditorium, PGIMER, here today.Anukriti Bhardawaj from Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, Chandigarh, and Rabya Agnihotri from Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, remained the first and second runners-up, respectively.This is for the first time in nine years that a boy has emerged the quiz champion as on all previous years, girls won the contest.The regional winner will participate in the National Brain Bee to be held in Kolkata on April, 2016.
