Five years ago musician and composer Ed Rex sneaked into an “Introduction to computer science” lecture at Harvard University. The lecture amazed Rex, who had just graduated from a music degree at Cambridge University and didn’t know anything about coding. “I decided then and there to try to teach a computer to write music,” said Rex.
