MDEC To Open Big Data Analytics Programme To ASEAN Peers

KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) — The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) hopes to open its Big Data Analytics (BDA) programme to its ASEAN peers in the quest to work together to spur economic growth in the region.MDEC, which has been tasked with implementing the programme, welcomes the participation of companies from ASEAN member states and hopes the BDA programme will become one of the group’s economic pillars.”It is a unique programme as it brings government agencies, as well as small and large companies together,” MDEC Chief Executive Officer Datuk Yasmin Mahmood told reporters at the close of the MDEC Big Data Training Programme, here Friday.Held in collaboration with the Harvard Business School Executive Education, the four-day BDA programme is aimed at adding value to the participants in order to…
