Unity hires Uber’s Machine learning head to give its games a new, AI driven edge

AI and machine learning professionals are in high demand and short supply. Which is why instances of executive poaching are quite common, even at the highest levels of the hierarchy. Along the same, Game Engine Unity has hired Dr. Danny Lange to head its AI and machine learning divisions.Dr. Lange joins Unity from Uber, where he was the head of machine learning and was helping build highly scalable machine learning systems. Before Uber, he had also worked at Amazon —  on Amazon’s internal Machine Learning platform (EML) and launched Amazon Machine Learning for AWS — and Microsoft.
