UW graduate returns to give neuroscience seminar

The UW graduate program in neuroscience hosted its first seminar of the new year Monday, Jan. 4. The event was a continuation of the department’s seminar series highlighting the neuroscience research being done on the UW campus and affiliated sites, as well as research from all over the country.  UW’s graduate program in neuroscience, a top neuroscience Ph.D. program, uses the series as a way to familiarize students with the varied research areas in the field. The speakers are chosen by graduate students in the program. “The number of neuroscience researchers and the wide breadth of study is one of UW’s most distinctive and greatest strengths,” said Kaitlyn Casimo, student host for the event and Ph.D. candidate.
